Position Overview

The company is seeking a hands‑on Accounts Payable Accountant to support their high‑volume AP operation . This role reports directly to the Controller and plays a key part in strengthening processes, improving systems, and modernizing workflows as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high‑volume vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage invoice coding, approvals, and weekly payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain organized AP records and support month‑end close activities
• Partner with the Controller to improve AP processes, workflows, and software utilization
• Assist with system enhancements and help implement best practices
• Build strong relationships with vendors, project managers, and internal teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience , ideally in a high‑volume environment
• Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of AP workflows, invoice processing, and payment cycles
• Proficiency with accounting software; openness to learning new systems
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset
• Must be able to work on‑site, 5 days per week
