Our System Power (STP) is looking for a talented Marketing specialist graduate in business administration, marketing, or engineering to join our team as a Sr Staff Marketing Specialist in Renesas Plano office. Our CAD ( C ontroller a nd D river) team is part of the STP team working on developing controller and FET driver ICs for 48V down-conversions, such as 48V-to-12V IBC. The successful candidate will work directly with the Sr. Manager who is in charge of CAD business. This role requires strategic planning, cross‑functional leadership, customer engagement, and strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and execute market strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market and marketing strategies for Controller and FET Driver products aligned with company business objectives
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and differentiations for target markets, segments, and key customers
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and market needs, and translate insights into internal alignment across teams
  • Drive design wins by working closely with sales and Field Application Engineers (FAEs), while establishing strong relationships with strategic customers and partners
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product management, and sales to ensure effective marketing execution and successful product launches
  • Provide sales teams with marketing tools, sales collateral, forecast management support, and enablement resources to improve sales effectiveness and achieve revenue objectives
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight studies to identify growth opportunities and market trends
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, and deliver regular reports and actionable insights to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or related roles within the semiconductor industry
  • Proven success in market management or regional business management in Server/AI Datacenter applications is a plus
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, or the experience of VIN <100V switching regulator (DC/DC, Buck, Boost, etc.) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, FAEs, and product management teams
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and performance metric tracking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer‑focused messaging
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customers, sales activities, and industry events
