Job Description

As a Video Post-Production Workflow Expert, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how AI comprehends professional video editing. This position allows you to utilize your skills in OpenShot and Shotcut to demonstrate your authentic editing workflow, guiding the development of intelligent editing solutions from raw footage to final export. Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and articulate your end-to-end video post-production process using OpenShot or Shotcut.
• Organize, label, and manage raw video assets efficiently for streamlined editing workflows.
• Apply narrative timing skills to structure stories with compelling pacing and visual flow.
• Refine rough cuts, evaluate transitions, and solve visual challenges as they arise.
• Communicate your decisions clearly, both verbally and in writing, to document workflow rationale.
• Collaborate with the research team by providing actionable feedback on workflow capture and AI learning requirements.
• Showcase creative approaches to common post-production obstacles, adding value beyond technical execution.

• Proven expertise in video editing with OpenShot and/or Shotcut on professional projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in workflow explanation.
• Demonstrated experience sequencing edits, crafting narrative timing, and visual problem-solving.
• Professional track record completing full video projects for commercial, educational, or monetized content.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project objectives in a remote setting.
• Experience organizing, managing, and archiving diverse multimedia assets.
• Comfortable explaining creative and technical decisions in a clear, concise manner.

• Background as a freelance video editor, multimedia designer, or content producer for monetized channels.
• Experience producing e-learning, marketing, or social media video content.
• Previous involvement in capturing workflows or training materials for post-production teams.

Contract position with remote work flexibility.

Hourly pay ranging from $15 to $65, commensurate with experience.

Open to candidates with the required skills and qualifications, able to work independently in a remote environment.
